Richmond usually meets the client during the initial design interview.  At this time, he learns about the client – their current brand, their aesthetic preferences and the audience that they hope to reach.  He also gains insight into the client’s direct and indirect competitors.  Once the design interview is completed, Richmond works with the strategy consultant to determine what elements in the site will best achieve the client’s goals.  Then, armed with this information, he creates unique design executions which will be presented, revised and eventually approved by the client.

Richmond not only designs sites; but, he also codes his layouts into optimized pages that are ready to be posted onto the web.  He is responsible for coding almost every page in a website, including the templates which are used in dynamic pages.  He is also responsible for creating motion graphics, logos, icons, flash presentations and video files.
