Professional Flash Web Design (Web and CD ROM)

The City of Washington, D.C. was competing to host the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. The Coalition wanted to generate support from the residents of Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia, while educating the United States Olympic Committee on the benefits of that region. One of the strategies used was the creation of a robust online campaign. The Coalition selected one Development Firm from each of the three markets, with WebConnection being selected over many Flash Web Design Agencies in Maryland.

Using Macromedia Flash, we created a Professional Flash Web Design. We designed an animated presentation that captured the spirit of the Olympic Games, while highlighting the regions' treasures. We used video, photographs, music and powerful copy to create a high impact, entertaining experience. The format of the piece needed to be versatile, running smoothly on a web site, CD-ROM and PowerPoint Presentation.

This compelling video incorporates fast paced electronic music that inspired many of its visual effects and transitions. These technologies clearly elevate The Washington D.C. bid from other cities competing for the Summer Olympics while instilling pride among the residents of that region.
